Alliandea

Alliandea was one of the two great elven kingdoms during the Age of Wonders, alongside Seratollia. Alliandea was the western of the two kingdoms, lying to the west of Seratollia and closer to Aegea and the western regions of the world.

The Drow War

During the Age of Wonders, Ulanthar became involved in Correries' experiments on elves that ultimately produced the drow. The resulting evil elves waged war against the other elves, with the conflict becoming centered largely around Seratollia.

Alliandea was affected heavily by this conflict. Many of the elves whom Ulanthar converted into the evil race came from Alliandea, making the kingdom an important part of the history of the drow and their war against the other elves.

The Fall of Age of Wonders

Alliandea suffered extensive destruction during the Fall of the Age of Wonders. When Demmazon's realm separated from the world, the resulting catastrophe drastically altered the landscape and caused widespread destruction. The western regions of the world were particularly badly affected because they were closer to the point where the end of the world occurred.

As a result, Alliandea was devastated both by the conflict surrounding the creation and spread of the drow and by the catastrophic effects of the separation of Demmazon's realm.

Little additional information about Alliandea has survived in the campaign records. Its exact capital, architecture, political structure, and ultimate fate are not currently established.
