10 - PlayersChris

In Under the Bus, Chris played Dunno Mename.

  • It was a stupid name he came up with because he didn't know what name to pick.

  • Chris was an original Under the Bus player who left the campaign for a period and later returned for a guest stint. The campaign recap explicitly describes Dunno's later appearance as Chris's return “for a week.” This explains why Dunno appears in later reports despite having no recorded 12th- or 15th-level Chosen Powers. The surviving notes do not establish that Dunno progressed to those levels, and his later appearance should not be treated as evidence of continuous participation.

  • When the party trained with The Chosen, Chris chose to have Dunno pursue a broad, general accumulation of knowledge rather than specialize in a particular subject. Dunno studied in the history division under Brother Tomlin alongside Smah Tepants, who focused specifically on lost technology.

  • During the confrontation with Samos, the party reluctantly agreed to abandon the Chosen and submit to a ceremony intended to break their Chosen geases. Everyone successfully resisted the geas except Dunno, who rolled a very poor Will save. This left him alone with Samos, nervously attempting to make small talk while Samos summoned guards. Dunno was subsequently confined in the Cathedral. After about a week he was allowed free run of the building but was largely assigned menial chores, repeatedly asking about returning to the party without receiving a clear answer.

  • During Chris's later guest return, Dunno was one of the survivors found aboard the devastated Sunchaser. Unfortunately, the badly wounded Dunno was killed almost immediately afterward when a kuo-toa priest caught the group in a Flame Strike and Chris failed his saving throw. Orinder subsequently used his Chosen power to Raise Dunno from the dead.
