Overview

Delphi was a celestial being associated with The Chosen who operated the powerful scrying pool at the Tower of Plinth.

The party met her during their first tour of the Tower. She was described as a beautiful woman with pale, almost blue-tinted skin. The Chosen explained that she had joined the organization some years earlier and possessed unparalleled ability to manipulate and operate the scrying pool.

The scrying pool itself was a powerful artifact left over from the Age of Wonders and served as one of the Tower's primary means of long-distance observation and communication.

Role in the Campaign

Delphi's importance was primarily functional: she operated the Tower's scrying pool.

The pool later proved particularly important because Effron had established a connection between the party leader and the Tower that allowed Chosen using the pool to scry on him and communicate through the connection. The party was not initially told about this ability, which later caused some resentment when they discovered it.

The source does not give Delphi a significant personal role in the later campaign.
